1. ALUMINIUM FRAME OPTION
Our Traditional Awning range has the option of a lightweight aluminium frame featuring the easy to adjust ‘Quick Lock’ bracket. (Standard on the Galaxy model)
2. DOUBLE COATED POLYESTER ROOF
The durable polyester we use for our roofs is double PU coated for extra protection.
3. VENTILATION
Ventilation in an awning is most important to reduce the effects of condensation. All SunnCamps have plenty of ventilation to keep this to a minimum.
4. QUICK FIX PADS
All SunnCamp Traditional Awnings come complete with ‘Quick Fix Pads’ allowing quick and easy attachment of the awning frame without damage to your caravan.
5. STORM MATE SYSTEM
Brackets are pre-fitted to all SunnCamp Traditional awnings to accept the optional ‘Storm Mate Kit’, a heavy duty storm strap to keep your awning secure.
6. ZIPS
Zips are the most used and most vulnerable part of an awning. All SunnCamp awnings are all fitted with strong rugged zips, compare them to other brands and you’ll see the difference!
7. TAPED SEAMS
All possible seams are heat sealed with polyurethane tape to give extra waterproof protection. These seams do not require any further seam sealant.
8. POLE SLEEVES
Sunncamp pole sleeves are constructed using a tough oxford material to reduce the chances of pole damage. They are also slick on the insides to allow easier pole threading.

9. GUYING TABS
Our guying tabs are strong, reinforced and made from an Oxford material. They are carefully designed to spread the load and support the poles.
10. COLOUR CODED POLES
SunnCamp Active Awnings are designed to be easy to pitch and obviously come with full instructions. To make your life even easier poles and pole sleeves are fully colour coded.
11. ADJUSTABLE TENSION STRAPS
SunnCamp Active Awnings feature adjustable tension straps, loosen them to insert the pole and then tighten them to help create the perfect pitch without the struggle.
12. PEGGING POINTS
Sunncamp Active Awnings feature strong pegging points heavily reinforced with Oxford material and sewn in place with double bar tacking.
13. FLUORESENT GUYLINES
Guylines can be a dangerous trip hazard, especially with children around! On all Active Awnings our pre attached fluorescent high visibility guylines reduce this hazard to a minimum
14. VARIO PEGGING SYSTEM
SunnCamp Traditional Awnings have pegging points inside and out allowing you a choice of internal or external mudflap
15. WASHABLE BASE PANEL
SunnCamp Traditional Awnings all feature a PVC coated polyester base panel allowing easy cleaning.
16. SUNNTEX ACRYLIC COATED MATERIAL
The walls of all our Traditional Awnings are manufactured in a heavy duty 280gm solution dyed acrylic coated material called ‘Sunntex’
